GIFTS Program

GIFTS, Gifts of Innovation For Teachers and Staff, runs twice a year (for awards in December and June) and it gives parents the opportunity to make a donation to the Foundation in lieu of purchasing a gift for their child’s teachers and other educators in the district.  Click here for the GIFTS Form (PDF).

Learning Cart Campaign

The AEFI is asking for your generous support.  We are in the process of updating the teaching aids and technology at all of Ashland's public schools by purchasing supplies for “Learning Carts."  These mobile learning carts include a digital camera, and a either a MimioTeach device or an Interactive Projector.  This type of equipment is becoming the standard for teaching today, and is instrumental in allowing teachers to prepare our children for high school and college.  Learning carts dedicated to each school will be shared among all of the classrooms in that school.        View and print flyer              Sponsor a learning cart

Annual Campaign

After successfully upgrading the Warren School Media Lab in 2004/05, the Mindess School Media Lab in 2006, providing two Middle School Mobile Computer Labs in 2007, and completing the Mindess Classroom Computer Campaign in 2008, the AEFI launched a new campaign in 2009 to supply monitors for 250 refurbished CPUs generously donated by two anonymous corporate donors. We are pleased to announce this campaign is complete as of May 2010!

Additional Programs

Art Appreciation & Integration Poster Library Campaign to create a comprehensive lending library of large, high quality art images for teachers to hang on their walls to accentuate high school lessons in every subject. This campaign was completed in 2010.

Warren School Cafetorium Campaign to install an effective audio/visual system using digital and wireless technologies for school-wide assemblies. This campaign was completed in January 2009, just in time for students to watch the historical inauguration of Barack Obama, America's first African-American President!
